Quality Chicken Fried Rice recipe?

All the Fried recipes online are really bad. They are really Americanized and are not as good as restaurant quality, they are comparable to buffet quality. Does anyone know of a good chicken fried rice recipe (it doesn’t have to be chicken, it can be veggie) that they have made that tastes like a sit down Chinese restaurants’ version?

Papaya Curry

 

INGREDIENTS

 

Papaya-200 gm

 

Carrot-100 gm

 

Curd-1/2 litre

 

Salt-2 tsp

 

                    Heat oil in a frying pan.Add mustard seeds, papaya and carrot,and stir well for 15 mins.Add curd to the frying pan and stir again.Add adequate salt. 

 

 Chicken-Peas Curry

 

 INGREDIENTS

 

 Chicken-1/2 kg

 

 Carrot-200 gm

 

 Peas-200 gm

 

 Turmeric powder-4 tsp

 

 Coriander powder-4 tsp

 

 Onion(Big)-200 gm

 

 Chilly powder-3 tsp

 

                            Heat oil in a frying pan.Add mustard seeds,Onion(Big).Add Chicken pieces to it and heat until well-cooked.Put turmeric powder,coriander powder and mix well.Add carrot,peas and stir well for 5 mins.Add 3 cups water and boil.Add salt and chilly powder.

 

Chicken-Pepper Curry

 

INGREDIENTS

 

Chicken-1/2 kg

 

Carrot-200 gm

 

(Grated)

 

Onion(Big)-150 gm

 

(Grinded)

 

Pepper-5 tsp

 

Green Chilly-10

 

(chopped)

 

Turmeric powder-4 tsp

 

Coriander powder-4 tsp

 

                               Heat oil in a frying pan.Add mustard seeds, Onion, carrot,and stir for 5 mins.Add the Chicken pieces to it and heat until well-cooked.Add pepper and mix well.Put turmeric powder and coriander powder and mix well.Add 3 cups water and boil.Add adequate salt.

 

Corn Masala

 

INGREDIENTS

 

Corn-150 gm

 

Onion(Big)-150 gm

 

(grinded)

 

Turmeric powder-2 tsp

 

Chilly powder-1 tsp

 

Salt-1/2 tsp

 

                         Heat oil in a frying pan.Add mustard seeds to it.Add grinded Onion,Corn and stir for 10 mins.Put  turmeric powder,chilly powder,salt and stir well.

Is it possible you would gain more or less fat eating a small meal high in fat vs. a huge meal high in fat?

Lets say both meals consist on 60g of fat. One was a slice of cake and a scoop of ice cream. The other is a giant chicken fried steak w/ gravy, buttered corn, and mashed potatoes with crumbled bacon on top.

Would one make you fatter than the other if they were both the same nutritional info, you just had to eat more of one vs the other?

Chicken has got to be one of the most universal meats we have today. You can do so much with it, and you get so much from it. Have you got a really terrific chicken recipe that every time your family sits down to the table puts a smile on their face? Most of us do have such a wonderful recipe, for some of us it is fried chicken, and for others it will be our famous chicken soup.



The funny thing about a chicken recipe is that you can take the same recipe and alter a couple of ingredients and have a whole new dish. Or you can take an existing recipe that does not contain any chicken at all, perhaps that famous pasta salad that you make, toss in some cubed chicken and you’ve got a whole new chicken recipe that will delight your friends and family for years to come.
